Weighted Lap Bag - Sequin

These weighted lap bags are used in many home, clinic and school environments for children and adults living with Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, ADHD, ADD, Anxiety and Restless Leg Syndrome. They can be very helpful for a child who is unable to sit still in their chair, is easily distracted, or unable to focus on the task they have been set.

Available in a range of flip sequin fabrics and filled with non-toxic poly pellets, the lap bags are separated into 10 sections to ensure balanced weight distribution. The flip sequins also provide their own sensory experience and have sequins on one side and plain black fabric on the other.

Weighted Lap Bags are fantastic for keeping children calm in environments that are commonly a challenge due to a restriction of space or the length of time required to sit still. They may also be used as part of a ‘Sensory Diet’ as prescribed by an Occupational Therapist at times for the child to self regulate their sensory input if they are over stimulated and need to calm down before attempting a task which requires focus.
