Presents theories of infant motor development and discusses the unique challenges involved in the assessment of the motor skills of developing infants as compared to that of adults.
The Motor Assessment of the Developing Infant (AIMS Manual) provides step-by-step instruction for using the Alberta Infant Motor Scale (AIMS) – a new scale that measures infant motor development. Features a review of the major theories of motor development, line drawings and photographs of each movement skill, and a percentile graph enabling the user to plot and infant’s score and derive a visual estimate of his/her percentile ranking.
The score sheets are required to complete this assessment and are supplied in a pack of 50.
